For summer I say go with medium length if you belive you can't pull off a short hair about above the bottem of you neck.

Personally i always thought short hair on a women is more attractive like the "bob" hair cut i belive its call thats just below there ears.

As a rare man who has long hair, Just go with what you feel most comfortable doing. I usual trim my length for summer since the heat doesnt help.

Ive always been a fan of shorter hair on women.  Dunno why.  So thats my choice, though like, shoulder length can usually look good to, though I suppose thats considered medium?  *shrug*

A bob is such a cute haircut -- the name hardly justifies. 

I'll make sure I post my final haircut when it happens (when I can afford it again...hopefully soon!).  Maybe not too short, but I do like the shoulder length to spruce it up.  There comes a point where it just doesn't manage well.  Goddamn, guys are lucky.  $15 trip to the barbers.  Done.

it's not that easy for guys. if you have shorter hair you have to get it cut at least every month or you look foolish. it's also easy to fuck up

I go to a salon school called the aveda institute. It's 16 bux and I usually tip a few. I've never had a bad cut because alll the students have teachers breathing down their necks and helping them out.

Pros:
Decent price for a salon in a city
loaded w/ hot chix
since they're students they're focused on doing their job and not all lackadaisical about it
loaded w/ hot chix
since they're trying not to fuck up there's less painful small talk
loaded w/ hot chix


cons:
they're kinda slow
you'll never get the same person twice, so you'll always have to describe in detail what you want.
they do a good job but sometimes they're tentative to take it as short as I want it.
the free tea they have tastes like if someone dehydrated a christmas elf, powdered it, and made a tea out of it



They're in multiple cities so if anyone is looking for something new I recommend them.

My heart sanka  bit when my favorite stylist had to throw in the towel in his hairdressing career; a nasty case of psoriasis made it too hard to work with open dry-skin cuts on his hand and working with chemical hair products.

Generally anyways: it is cheaper to be a guy.  I hate guys with buzz cuts, so fellas, the extra coinage on a proper style wins me over (and other girls too).

True enough.  Hell, I know some girls women that sport the boy cut so, so well that they may look average or worse with it grown out.

But I always figure, if you have the head of hair, why not go for some longer styles?  Or grown out a bit at the very least -- but that's just personal preference.
