Amazon Shipping

Was planning to buy Dissidia 012 through Amazon as it was at a good price. However I was shocked when I saw the shipping would cost me $20 at the checkout, not around $5 like the general shipping information page told me when I chose the longest method (standard airmail, 7-18 days). This is being shipped to Australia.

Has anyone experienced this before? Thought I'd ask here before I sent Amazon an email.

I never heard of Amazon opening shop in Australia so the charges might all be high from import shipping in the US or the UK.

The shipping is going to be ridiculously high at that point for you and its not worth it.I recommend going to another retailer that is Australia localized or an import friendly site.

From what I hear,Australia already gets charged through the roof when it comes to imported items.

I understand that, but what I don't understand is why the shipping information page tells me one price and the checkout gives me another.
