the best music is 8 bit tunes from megaman :o

I can rally behind that.

Dr. Wily's castle theme from Megaman 2.  I love that.

Dead Ops Arcade's music is my 8-bit jam.. even if it's not entirely 8-bit.

I love driving! But I have a lot of pet peeves with it because I live in Suburbia, where there are tons of bad, entitled drivers.

1) Don't tailgate me. :(
2) Your blinker is your friend. Please use it instead of speeding up and cutting in front of me.
3) Get off your cell phone, like yesterday.
4) Please don't go 50 in a 65 mph zone.
5) Pedestrians, if there is a crosswalk 50 feet away from you, for gods sake don't jaywalk, you lazy bum.
6) Did I mention don't tailgate me? Ass :|

Calm, calm yourselves.  Let's all just admit who the one true enemy is here to both the army of walkers and the cavalry of drivers...

The Cyclists.

Where do you live?

I hate when I'm running/walking and people pull up the stop sign/light all quick right into the pedestrian crossing, almost killing me

Hey, I'm a cyclist!  I bike 18 miles a day for my commute.  There are some cyclists who are complete assholes and make me want to pull them over and beat them with Kryptonite lock (that would hurt in case you don't know), but most cyclists I know are good people.

Living in NYC all I hear about are how evil the cyclists are, and it is annoying. While occasionally I have to dodge an asshole riding his bike on the sidewalk (which is illegal FYI), I encounter more assholes in cars on a daily basis.

There's a growing opposition to bike lanes here because of propaganda that bikes are responsible for more injuries in the city each year than cars. The problem is, there are no figures on how many cycling injuries there are because the DOT doesn't keep those on file. The anti-cyclist crowd has raised such a stink that they will begin tallying those numbers, which is a good thing, but right now all these people in Park SLope are basically using the example of, "I know a guy who knows someone that was injured on a bike, which is why we don't need bike lanes."

That and they're just old.

MY main issues with cyclists are the ones who actually turn left with traffic (it's a car thing, not a bike thing!).  And what's wrong with using a sidewalk sometimes!??!  I feel bad for the public transit buses, they take up a whole lane as is, and for one of them to compete with a cyclist means they have to go into another lane -- a pain in the ass they don't need when it's already rush hour.

The main problem I think most drivers have is that *they're* scared to hit someone, because it's on them for whatever "reckless cycling" that goes on.

Kevadu, I'm sure you and whatever biking friends are legit, but there are too many assholes.

You guys need cycle lanes.

I honestly can't imagine a life without my bicycle. It's so much cheaper than a car. I still ride the yellow bike my parents bought for me when I entered secondary education thirteen years ago and it's as reliable as ever <3

They're supposed to turn left w/ the traffic.
