You all would have screamed if you saw board signatures on the RPGFan forums back when this place was using RPGBoard back in '98 and '99.  Only a few know who I'm talking about, but Keith's forum signature was a full page long full of Macross GIFs and a MIDI file.  Bear in mind, this was also back when 99% of us were using dial-up.

It was the threaded forums from way back, yes.  It most certainly had sub-forums though.  I frequented the Sega board more than the others.
