Well, while I certainly would never endorse any sort of vandalism... Dynasty Warriors is pretty terrible. Or, perhaps its lack of ability to get better is terrible.

If that's true then the vandals have serious issues (not that they didn't have issues to begin with). As far as I know Japan's STILL having some power problems.

That's just distasteful then if that's the reason.  I would hate to see the dumb ass people in the U.S. if Call of Duty went down for a week.  They would burn couches and go outside and dictate what they do in the Call of Duty games,lol.

CoD gamers rage if the servers go down for a few HOURS. As it is, those servers need the maintenance especially the PS3 ones, so they should be HAPPY when Activision does work on it.

When I read this I actually thought 'I'm kinda surprised this hasn't happened to Infinity Ward or Treyarch' until Alisha mentioned why this happened.

I liked DW3 and 4 and I remember people like DW5 though I never played it. I think with 6 they apparently started having some major technical issues?

Man, Dynasty Warriors Online had problems before the earthquake.  Every time I personally tried to play, it was time for a patch within 30 minutes, or the lag was unbearable.  It was extremely annoying, especially because it was a really good game.  Whatever qualms people have with the games, they are perfect for MMO's.

That said, how can people love Phantasy Star Online and hate Dynasty Warriors?  Rhetorical question, but the gameplay differences between the two are smaller than the popularity difference.  ..  .. unless Dynasty Warriors actually sells extremely well and people just complain, like with Final Fantasy..?

The 3DS Samurai Warriors game is great.  I just wish it had blood.  That being my main complaint says a lot.

I have to ask, if the games aren't changing much with each iteration, what IS happening?  Madden can just swap character names and stats and be relevant.  Are they basing DW on every Japanese war?  oh god, maybe it IS the Japanese Call of Duty...

Dynasty Warriors is an admittedly guilty pleasure of mine, but whatever I'm excited for DW7 - in this one there's gonna be more generals to use from the dynasty that really did win the war (Jin?). Your character can also use more than one type of weapon and switch between weapons on the go. Yay.
