If Legends 3 is canned I'll truly be worried, but this? Given what I've heard I imagine Capcom just decided it wasn't worth keeping around without Inafune spearheading it.

Aww, that sucks.  I say this as an MMO fan first, it would have been cool (Dungeon Fighter is my main example).  Mega Man fans have likely lost nothing great.

We have Hard Corps: Uprising for our side-scrolling level-up style online multiplayer anyway, and sorta makes the case that you don't need a fully blown MMO to achieve those positives.

They could do some great things with a more serious Megaman MMO... greater than what this would have been.

Wait, do you mean that MMO that kinda almost sorta looks like a platforming MMO with characters that kinda vaguely resemble some Megaman characters and looked to be both incredibly clunky and slow and also looked like it wasn't worth it at all?

I'd rather have seen that game canceled before this. Oh well, I'm more interested in what Inafune's two new studios are cooking up instead.

From what I've heard, this game's control mechanics were terrible, according to people who've played it, so good riddance, I say. I'd rather they make a sequel to the Classic series, or a wholly new 2D Mega Man series.

I will admit that was better than what I saw before. But not by enough.

That second boss fight for instance, the player was taking way too many hits from attacks that would've been easy enough to dodge in a real MMX game. Also is that Alia showing up in the corner? And if so, why does she have 7s plastered across her TitS?

I guess it is more of an online game than a pure megaman game.  If you're into smaller scale online games like that, the megaman aesthetic looks pretty good and should make for a good online game.
