Trying to remember NES game

There was an NES game where the first level was in a classroom.  If you got up out of your chair, the teacher charged at you.  So, you had to hold the down button (I think) to stay seated until the right moment so you could escape, or something.  I think only the first level was like this. I think it was an adventure game?

That's about all I have to go on.  It was one of those games I never got to play as a kid, and the memory of it just came back to me.

The game you're mentioning sounds remarkably similar to an arcade game from the same time called Mikie I can't find any nes port for this, though there has been many hacks of other games.

Maybe I saw it on Nick Arcade as a kid and got it confused with an NES game.  In fact, now I remember the arcade stick and everything.
