EDIT: in double checking, the definite dragon image is much more cohesive and apparent.  How the fuck could this NOT be BoF related or whatever?

Meh. I doubt it's a Breath of Fire sequel. There wasn't even any love shown for including a Breath of Fire character in Marvel vs Capcom 3, so! I'm keeping my expectations mighty low. We'll find out on April 13th, at any rate.

I'm surprised they wouldn't "risk" another title on a handheld.  I'm amazed demand is that low.
...well hell, I guess they still haven't made a Chrono sequel...so..

Perhaps we'll see a new Breath of Fire on the 3DS, or even NGP. I don't know if it'll be titled Breath of Fire 6, but it's possible that they'll revive the IP on a handheld. I mean, Suikoden Tierkreis was made on the DS, and the Suikoden series was in limbo. Well it's back to being in limbo, currently. Ha.

Although I'd say play 1, 2 and 4 too. They are all great games.

The first one was kinda crappy, very typical dungeons and dragons stuff. 
The second one got into a pretty dark false-religion plot.
The third one was an odd story (by the end), but I'd say it is the fan favourite, and people love the dragon system.
The fourth one is my favorite for the amazing world, but much more simple battle system.  Gorgeous animations though.
The fifth one is the tough call, but some call it the best, others call it the worse.  I personally respect the change of pace and 180'd setting (literally?).
And the sixth is so totally Dreath of Dire here.

2 had the same characters as 1, which I found kinda stupid honestly. I think that's why I passed on 3. I always kinda felt like I should track down 3 and give it a shot though.

I have very fond memories of 3. I remember eagerly waiting its release when I was younger. Reading previews in Gameinformer,etc. I went to the store to get it the day it was supposed to be released, but they told me it was delayed. I finally got it a couple weeks later and played the hell out of it. One of my favorite games.
