I never beat X-2. I got close to 100%, but I watched someone else beat the game instead. I still maintain that the battle system was fun, but the game overall was pretty unnecessary.

i could only see the battle system being fun if you could someow put FFX's excellent battle system out of your mind. or as was mentioned on the irc chan maybe some level of nostalgia needs to be at play for you to enjoy ffx-2's battle system. nostalgia doesnt work on me because the first ff game i played was the ff8 demo :o

I can't bring myself to play it, its the same with XIII, I get a couple of hours into it then think "my god, this game is shite" and turn off for something better.
They are the only 2 FF's I haven't completed (not counting mmo's). Fanboy or not, if im not having fun its time to move on.
