What keeps you going everyday?

But what is it that has you wake up and do the same bullshit almost everyday?

Seriously though, I try to enjoy life as much as I can and fortunately I've never been in a situation where I was desperate for the end of the month because I needed cash, but it comands our lifes. The car you drive, the house you live in, the things you own, how much you spend when you go out, it always comes down to what you can afford and since you want to be able to afford better things in the future you´re constantly driven to make that happen. It may involve having a job you don't like, working extra hours or having more than one job at the same time.
So in the end I guess that thinking about the good things that come form the bad things I have to endure is what keeps me going. Being able to go out with friends without worrying that I don't really have the extra cash to spend, buying that fancy TV or whatever it is I may want and most imporantly ensuring that my family has everything it needs.

I was kind of like a zombie throughout most of middle/high school and college. I kept going because, well, what else was I supposed to do? There were expectations and I didn't want to be a burden on anyone, so I just did what I thought had to be done. There were times when I was exhausted. I got up at 6:45, got on my bicycle on 7:15, arrived at 8:00, went to classes, almost slept through the classes after lunch break, did my homework, went back home, ate dinner and went to bed at 6 PM to repeat the cycle the next morning. In hindsight, that may not have been healthy... but I did it anyway, because I felt I had to. It didn't really bother me, because I couldn't imagine life being any other way.

Anyway, I got a job in the game industry, dropped out of college (yes, in that order) and now I can honestly say that I get up in the morning because I enjoy my life.

What keeps me going everyday? Nothing really. I just don't see the point of the alternative.

I'm in Dice's boat where I have to study all the damn time, plus I have full-time day job. I work from 8-4. Then go to class from 6-9. Then I come home and usually study. Definitely tires me out.

I just want to achieve more in life and have a nice job that I can say I enjoy doing. I also want to travel more and see the world. So, I guess my sense of adventure is what keeps me going. I don't want to get stuck in a boring routine, even though that's kind of what my life is at the moment, sprinkled with random bits fun.

One of the things that keeps me going is probably my dreams in general. I know what I'm capable of and I know that if I let the world get me down, then I'm just wasting all this wonderful potential I have.

I also take pleasure in the little things. A good view, a good laugh, sometimes being able to lay down at the end of a long day and just do nothing. Most importantly however, I'd have to admit that my Faith keeps me going. It's a constant reminder of how I am blessed, and it pushes me to want to become a better person. Keeps me grounded when I'm too ecstatic, keeps me calm when I'm getting frantic. Wouldn't call it my proverbial rock but it certainly makes my life easier to deal with.
