I thank my boyfriend nearly every time I see him for the same thing.  I feel embarrassed sometimes where he tells me what book he's read, and I tell him what I played or drew.... =|

My wife has been cool with the gaming thing as well but deep down I know she would love if I threw the PS3 out of the window.
She's been addicted to some farmville rip-offs she found on the net so now every time she's playing I go: "See? How long have you been playing that? You're addicted, just admit it!"

i havent dated anyone in a while. the last girlfriend i had would go to bed at like 1am and want me to lay in bed with her cause she said i made her feel safe when i was near...so i started playing my psp after she fell asleep. one time she woke up and got mad and threw my psp out the window. suffice to say i told her to gtfo. 3 years later she still wants me back wtf? seriously whats so good about me that she cant go find someone else? so yeah ive been single for 3 years and its kinda nice.

PSP in bed...yeah, been there done that lol. And actually she's OK with that, after all we have a PS2 and Wii in the bedroom so often I fall asleep to the sound of her playing something. We both draw the line at the PS3 though, it has to stay in the living room, if we moved it into the bedroom I doubt either of us would ever get any sleep!

What keeps me going? My girlfriend/soon to be wife, my two dogs and the possibility of having children soon, and frankly....my job.

I fucking LOVE my job. It's stressful, tiring and sometimes infuriating, but it's REALLY fun and I get a real joy out of seeing the "hamster hop on the wheel."

Not so long ago I was a pretty angry and frustrated person regarding just about everything....but I think since starting with my company I've started to really dial in and say "Ya know what? I'm almost 30, I gotta fucking man up and make this happen, otherwise I'm going to lose the best girl on the planet, I'm going to go back to the bar or into retail and I dont want to start stepping backwards when I should be moving forward."

Shit, reading through this thread......one more thing really keeps me going. If people like Kim and Grim and are dealing with conditions like theirs and THEY'RE still going? Then I should be "going" too. Call me sappy, but that's inspiration if it's anything.

I'm glad I deleted my CC info, like 2 days before this shit happened. Around the 15th i think it was, and never updated my address info after i moved. Also I always use fake names on all my accounts (except gamestop and amazon stuff like that). Most i ever give anyone is my first and middle.

Thanks, Todd. I appreciate that. It's all one day at time for me. One day I feel great(not really, but better than normal) and the next day I just want to pop a bunch of pills and stay in bed. I just keep going, though. I've got too much riding on me.
The job thing is SO important. Especially considering how much frickin' time out of our lives we spend doing it. If your job sucks, and your miserable, that's a 1/3 of your life! For some, it's more than that. And it effects the other 2/3. I, also, am lucky to have a job I enjoy, working with people I like, for a good company. I'm glad you've found the same.

I majored in CS. I have no idea how to get a job in my field, having spent the last three summers working custodial jobs instead of internships because I actually wanted to make some money, ergo no CS work experience. I also went back to school for a year post-graduation to improve my CS background because BGSU all but killed their CS program when I was a senior, which sort of wipes out my chances of getting picked up by a CS company that wants people straight out of school.

The thing is I really don't know if I even WANT a CS related job because a lot of them sound really, really shitty. I actually kind of just want to get a job at Kohl's or Target or something for now. Something to pay for rent and food but not a career.
