Well, I dunno about other games but Gungnir is unavailable on PSV, which irritated me big time.

It is now. Transferrable through PS3, will be on the PSV store later, August 8th I believe.

Ah. I ended up getting the physical version anyway to add to my shelf of Sting games.

But honestly the games coming out now are so niche theyre probably not worth the time for most big sites, its unfortunate, but Japanese media us equally dismissive of western games on near dead platforms.

Anyway, it's a dread that nobody knows the name for, like those little square plastic gizmos that close your bread bags. I don't know the name for those either."

It is now.  But it's not in the PSVita store yet.  So you've got to download it to your PS3, then transfer it to the Vita.  Which is kind of a bummer.

So I know the PSP is a niche platform and all, but I found this pretty sickening.

I asked Colin Moriarty at IGN why their PSP coverage has been, well, non-existent.
(Nothing on Growlanser, Gungnir, Unchained Blades, etc.)

We've opted not to cover those games. Greg and I can only do so much; we think our time is better spent on PS3 and Vita at this point.

I'll tell ya what sickens me is the fact that my local gamestop has ceased even stocking ANY PSP games, yet still has PS2 titles  NEW... yes, not even one used PSP title (no section in the store for em, period)....

The EBGames around here still stock them, but there haven't been any new ones for months now (like Gungnir). I think they're just trying to sell them off.
