According to Famitsu. Never saw more Growlanser coming.
(Kind of sad they skipped II and III.)

You can begin hounding Atlus USA at your leisure. I've gotten us to a head start.

It would be cool if we got it, and I'd definitely pick it up. I've heard good things about 4.

Oh look. Yet another game Atlus USA will completely ignore for more P3 bullshit. Especially likely since it rivals Growlanser 1 as the best of the series and we all know how Atlus USA will never look at it because Growlanser 5.

Unless they do a 1 + 4 combo pack like WD did for 2 & 3 there's pretty much no hope for a release of Growlanser 1 PSP at this point.

Just wondering, but, Growlanser IV can get ignored thanks to Catherine? I can see that happening any day now.

I picked up Generations when it became available here and I had a ton of fun playing it, so yeah, I'd be all over IV. I'd actually love a complete set as well, that'd be really cool to have.

You'd have better luck getting XSeed to localize it than Atlus.

Also, the way you worded that makes it sound like you don't want it to come.

Problem is, Atlus don't like giving out their IPs. Funny, because they sure don't mind jumping on other ones.

I heard Victor Ireland had to fight tooth and nail to license II & III.

Exactly what problem do JRPG companies have with letting other companies translate their games? Do they not like making money, or something? I heard other companies have tried to license Tales games, for instance, but Namco-Bandai adamantly refuses.

Some of these companies might be like that because they have a North American branch. Namco was just being nasty, but Atlus might have other reasons for not localizing the Growlanser PSP games.

I have the first Growlanser Imported for PS1...which is weird because I never opened it so I have never played it.

Hoping to see Growlanser IV in the west so cj_iwakura can play it to his heart's content.
