I'm in the process of making a script for one of my games for personal use and I've heard you can take the files from the game disk and save it onto the PC. I want to be able to look at the text files specifically. Has anyone done this who knows what I need to install on my computer to make this possible?

Sorry - it does sound like you're not trying to do something nefarious, but we don't deal in that kind of thing here, regardless of the reason why you want to do it.
