So, I usually don't post often in this forum as I have the creativity of a church rat. But recently I decide to try out vector tracing, as it seemed like an easy way to be creative without, you know, necessarily being creative.

I decide to start with something easy, so the scene I chose to trace was this. And this is what I ended up with. Not a perfect match, but I think it's pretty good for a first try. There are a few inconsitencies here and there, and I missed some finer details in few places.

So, I was wondering if anyone else around here knows anything about vector tracing, and maybe could give me a few pointers on how to improve? Am going to attempt this Melancholy of Harhuhi Suzumiya scene next, and I have a feeling it will prove a lot harder than my first...
