start saving your money now (Seiken Densetsu box...)

I know Konami's Suikoden box was put on hold (possibly canceled). But I don't think S-E announces this stuff lightly.

It is the 20th anniv of the Mana series, after all.

Based on the contents, "physical artifact" fans should be pleased to note that Children of Mana was previously a digital-only soundtrack release. This will put it in physical form. Plus, unlike the SaGa box, this one picks up on two arranged albums as well (which is really the only arrangements, outside select arrangements on drammatica or the "SQ" albums).

I'm totally saving up money for this, and if I'm still employed come September, I'm-a order it. :)

Oh, so they are putting secret of mana + in this collection. That's one of the weirdest albums I've heard. For anyone that doesn't know, the album has just one track that is over 40 minutes long and is quite an experience.

I've never even read something about the other album, Final Fantasy Gaiden: Seiken Densetsu put your thoughts to music... *searches the soundtracks section* Nice! There's a review here. (:

Wow, 20 cd set! Bet that is Is going to be all kinds of pricey. I am thinking very hard about getting this. SD  is one of the few major rpg series that I own nothing of.

Bet that is going to be all kinds of pricey.

Retail price is listed as 21,000 yen, which by current conversion rate is...

$259.52

which is about $13 per CD.

So, yeah, save your money kids! Comes out in September!

Hm, where would be the best place to buy this? CD Japan? Play-Asia? In terms of shipping (like packaging) and price, but I feel the price is gonna be high no matter what lol (Though Play-Asia has the cheapest) I've never imported anything before and I've also never bought an OST before (though I'm ready for the high price of this). I would like to buy through Amazon.jp but I think I would need to go through some difficult procedures to order it. I'm sorry that I'm asking here (in an old topic too...) Thanks

Amazon Japan will charge you an insane amount for S&H.

If Play-Asia still has it in stock, order through there. And if you want to support RPGFan, click the "buy from Play-Asia" link when you do it.
