Yeah.... it's not confirmed. Apparently ME3 is coming out in Japan on March 15th so maybe it's to help promote ME3 there, if this DLC exists. I thought Assassin's Creed was a little odd, but this is even weirder. EA seems really intent on whoring out ME...
I don't think any FFXIII-2 DLC is Japan-exclusive. Especially those based on Western-made games.

It could be worse. Like, putting Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur.
Oh wait that happen... hm yeah, dark times.

Academia(the regular, not X version) is amazing. Felt like walking around in a Blade Runner city, if not Coruscant.
Minus the random battle multitude of AF400, I think Academia in neon red and blacks is even more beautiful than the regular version. Then you have the AF500 version with the most beautiful textures/Tetris blocks in the world.
The only thing that could taint the MEverse more is Bioware's own writers.

Um, you're a little backwards there. Academia 400af is the battle zone one, 4xxaf is the nice and pretty one. 500af is the last stand one.

Random question but, did anyone enjoyed more FFXIII in the Beginner's Primer? It give the impression that the entire story of XIII could have been more enjoyable as a novel. After all, you kinda have to read two novels before and after finishing the game and they also make you read the datalog all the time... doing that in XIII-2 is actually more fun though.
But maybe that's because the game itself is better.

My god, this game continues to defy and impress. I just reached Academia 4XXAF, after all the Academia 400 and Augusta Tower stuff. Talk about unique locales and story arcs. I really don't understand how reviewers can say that "FFXIII-2 is better than it's predicessor, but it fails to offer anything new that we haven't seen before". Come on! I've never played anything REMOTELY like this game! These are the same reviewers that have no problem gushing over Skyrim, when I realized it was exactly like Fallout 3, Oblivion, and every other bathesda game, in a fairly generic norse fantasy world. Not to diss on Skyrim, it's a great game... but how can one complain about FFXIII-2 being unoriginal and then laud all these other games for innovation.
Another thing I love about FFXIII-2, and some wisdom they got from Doctor Who, "don't try to act like you know what you're talking about with time travel paradoxes". In the words of The Doctor, it's all just "Timey-Wimey stuff", similarly, Noel and Serrah basically say, "hell if I understand how all this works, but let's go with it." Fantastic!
I've been watching all the way through the new Doctor Who series at the same time as playing FFXIII-2, and some of the influence becomes fairly obvious, and as I said, I think the S-E writers learned some valuable lessons, unlike the writers of many other time travel sci-fi's.

Hope you get enough interest after finishing the main portion of the game to do the paradox endings, they are really well put together.
In my opinion anyway.

I've been a really big fan of Hope's theme, that little accoustic tune that plays during the eclipse when you see him.

^Oh yes, I go to the area in where that the song plays when I'm reading a guide of the game. Easily one of the best tracks. (:

If the game had dialogue like that, it'd be in my top 10.
