Finally finished XIII-2... wow. All pumped for XIII-3 (don't even try to pretend it won't happen). Not sure I'm game for getting all the paradox endings, but I did get two already, and did the Sahz DLC.

Oh, it might not, it may just be they throw a DLC wrapping it all up later instead. Either way no way they're going to leave the ending like THAT.

I would be fine with it ending like that. Ballsy, awesome, great ending. I really doubt XIII-3 will happen. Really, really doubt it.

It's not like XIII-2 did badly (well, ok, by FF standards it did), but yeah, I'd rather them just wrap up the plot then draw it out some more. Otherwise it'll get like any bad teen drama that just wants to fill seasons.
And I want some cameo costumes, wtf. There is like 30 fucking spots for it, I wanna dress shitty Serah is Farris' pirate clothes or Rinoa bicycle shorts and blue thing (which hopefully won't be recoloured
pink!
).

Well, considering it ended with a to be continued, it's safe to say the gamr ain't done yet.

Their reasons for that are so that you'll go back and get the Paradox Endings. Unless they announce XIII-3 after Lightning's DLC comes out in a month or two, I highly doubt it will occur.

WELL CONSIDERING THEY ENDED THE GAME WITH A "TO BE CONTINUED" AND THE SILLY PARADOX ENDINGS WERE SILLY WHAT IFS, IT'S SAFE TO SAY THE GAME AIN'T DONE YET.
Seriously, squeenix doesn't know sad endings, and unless they're pulling an evangelion and killing their story for our hate on the original, this isn't the end.

I still don't agree. There's been nothing issued about it and until they mention XIII-3 in some sort of press announcement I don't really see them doing anything else with the game besides DLCs. XIII-2 simply didn't sell enough to warrant another game.

Now there's a Final Fantasy XIII-2 Soundtrack for Downloadable content
:
Square Enix said Final Fantasy XIII-2 will have a ton of downloadable content and apparently there’s enough for an additional soundtrack. Final Fantasy XIII-2 Original Soundtrack Plus has remixes and new songs from unspecified DLC packs. In addition to fights with Ultros and "Beachwear," Final Fantasy XIII-2 has downloadable scenarios starring Sazh and Lightning.
Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy XIII), Naoshi Mizuta (Final Fantasy XI), and Mitsuto Suzuki (The 3rd Birthday) contributed to the CD.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Original Soundtrack Plus goes on sale on May 30 for 2,100 yen ($25).

So lets see if I got this right.
FFXIII-II's ending is a cliffhanger, potentially setting up a second part, which would make it FFXIII-II-II?

I fought Ultros and Typhon yesterday. Got iced three times, and my team is maxed out with Sazh, Omega, and Lightning. They're nasty.
Amazingly fun fight though.

No super medic squad? For shame.
Are ultros and typhoon difficult cuz they hit hard or because of a bs aspect to the fight lile jihl?

They hit HARD. Typhon is ultra buffed up by Ultros, and hits like a tank. Snort and Fireball are AOEs that can easily kill Serah and Noel in one shot if you get caught unprepared.
After a short period of time, he gets tired out, and gets hit with massive debuffs, which means you can drain his HP fast. And Typhon has a lot. More than any other boss in the game, like 3 mil.
And my best medic is too weak for that fight. I let Serah and her awesome potions do the healing, while Omega and Noel take the heat. Heck, my Sazh has the most HP in the team.
