$80!? ...Jesus Christ, at least give one of those awesome mugs that Japan is getting to drink coffe like a boss every night at that price. :T

And to think that the price in Latin America will be higher than this for a couple of dollars more is kinda scary for my pocket. Then again, I'm between buying this because I love me some Yoji Shinkawa art and Peace Walker or waiting for the HD version of Peace Walker on Vita. I remember they announced that at TGS, they talked a lot of things at TGS though so I might be wrong.

Konami plans on releasing the games in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection as separate PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade downloads too.

Actually, I don't think they'll be XBLA games but rather Games on Demand games. They did it with the RE games, and I think Crysis as well, plus I'm pretty sure MGS2 was a dual layered DVD on PS2 in 2001. No way in hell is something like that going to fit under the 2 GB limit short of crazy compression, and that's probably not what you want to do with the high end HD version anyway.
