It's been so long since the Code Geass 1/2 fiasco I'm not sure if I remember it right.

************ warning, memory may be faulty ************

The original Code Geass was one season only. At some point they asked that the whole show be changed to fit a second season. Everyone got pissed, but did it because they were forced to. The director quit right after and the original ending was never disclosed.

Spoiler Alert: [code geass]This is how every anime that has an unplanned sequel goes. Giant Robot anime in particular are susceptible to this practice.[/code geass]

Looks like I went to the weird side of Youtube again.

I certainly wasn't expecting that ending.

Finished Paradise Kiss earlier, too bad the middle part wasn't as good as the beginning and end. Kaiba is still VERY interesting and Sukitte Ii na yo has started wonderfully.

Watched Attack on Titan episode 9 last night. Sh*t just got real! Major cliffhanger ending, so much so that waiting for the episodes to release each week is making me considering getting the manga volumes...

^ Bah, I really should be watching the anime.  Just after reading the manga, it feels pointless beyond "oh wow look how that was animated!  Preeetyy", but then you miss out on the gore of the manga.... D:
I like gore.

Anyways

Holy shit at that Gargantia reveal o_O

Daang.  Yeah, Gargantia was pretty shocking.
Kudos to the animators: they were really good at animating chunks of aquatic flesh just spinning and floating in the water*.
I'm sure we'll get even juicier spoilers later after that clusterfuck of spoilz.

Daang.  Yeah, Gargantia was pretty shocking.

Really?  I've been anticipating something like that since
Code:
they found hideauze on earth.
Honestly it felt kind of predictable to me.

Code:
I guessed they were from earth, but not that they were an extension of human people (well, I *KINDA* took a hint when he killed off the..umm, alien *fetuses* and looked pretty human than whale-squiddy).  I'm a "good" kinda viewer like that though, I shut off my brain during tv/movies and let the story do the talking.  I think more aftter the fact.  The scene where he's killing off Hideuze eggs, by extension, is pretty disturbing.

Attack on Titan figures.... they hit the vibe of the manga pretty well.

More Gundam SEED. The show really picks up after

Code:
they arrive in ORB. The show had lulled me into a false sense of security and then BAM! They kill off Nicol and Tolle. Kira and Athrun wailing on each other in fury after their respective friend's deaths was pretty awesome to watch.

I'm on episode 36 or 37. Not sure what occurs more: people crying or stock footage. Regardless I am liking it quite a bit. After I finish SEED I'm gonna move straight on into Destiny.

The answer is not nearly enough of either as you will soon find out in Destiny.

Yeah, you're better off not watching Destiny. I know this is useless as it won't stop you, but I feel it is my duty to warn you.

Personally I would have told him to not watch SEED period really, if someone wanted to watch a Gundam series and they hate older hand-drawn stuff I'd recommend watching 00 or Unicorn 20 times before you got around to SEED.

opinions etc

and I'd tell you SEED is great and Destiny definitively starts slow and takes many episode to pick itself up.
One thing is, instead of watching the last episode of Destiny, you'll want to watch the superior movie version "Gundam Seed Destiny - Final Plus - The Chosen Future".
The last episode was really good, but the movie version is incredible.
