Steins; Gate

Holy crapbiscuit did shit ever hit the fan in episode 12. I ended up just watching the entire series straight, after that. Great show and I loved almost every bit of it. I am not sure if the ending should have stopped two episodes earlier or not though. I did enjoy it but felt the third last episode concluded everything brilliantly.

I actually realised most of what would happen before it did. I realised that Suzuha was Daru's daughter after Mayuri said they made a good pair. I also guessed that Okabe would be the one to stab Kurisu but didn't think it would be an accident. Had no idea about Kurisu's father and his part to play.

my idea of him travelling back to being an elementary schooler was comletely wrong. I also thought that the video from furure Okabe was actually made by present day Okabe instead. Needless to say, I was wrong.

Poor Mayuri :(

Did you watch it subbed or dubbed?  I thought the dub was solid.  And the whole "bear" line is still my favorite of the dub.

Dub, and it was GREAT!! The names of characters alone leave some of the lines quite entertaining to hear. In the ep with "Sandwich" I couldn't help but get a kick out of damn near every line spoken with the inclusion of that awkward name.

In this world is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcedental entity or law? is it like the hand of god hovering above? Perhaps Man has no control even over his own will…

It was a stupid naming motif but I always got a bit excited to hear what was next

It's like the Strawberry Shortcake "characters named after food" trope made about 20% cooler.
Games I've given Editor's Choice to:
Ever 17, Hourglass of Summer, Anachronox, Persona PSP, Radiant Historia, To The Moon, Revolution 60

Reminds me of Galaxy Angel which does the same.

There's something called "Ketchup Ninja". Find it and read it.

How many seasons will it take for them to get to Cinnabar Island this time?
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

Just finished watching the last special 3 episodes of oreimo.
Very good ending. I seriously can't find any complaints.

Last boss Manami was awesome. Kinda sad though that Manami has some serious issues =(

A lot of people seem to be upset over the OreImo ending.  Well, I kind of expected that after reading the books.  Watching people rage over it is fun ;)

I was kind of on the fence myself, but the more time that has passed since I read it the more I appreciate it.

I just started reading up on Berserk again. I only have up to Vol. 15 and I just found out how most of the volumes are OOP.  Why would this happen if this is one of Dark Horse's best selling manga's?  What a bad time to be a Berserk fan and to get back into the series.

I'm about 200 pages into Battle Angel Alita: Last Order- Omnibus 1 and man it's good.  Yukito Kishiro totally outdid himself, not only retconning the original ending to his liking (he was very ill when writing the final volumes of Battle Angel Alita and was totally unsatisfied with the ending he originally penned) but beginning (continuing?) an adventure even more epic in scope than the original series.

Yes, I'm aware the Japanese name is Gunnm, the protagonist is Gally rather than Alita, and the sky cities are Zalem and Jeruzalem rather than Tiphares and Ketheres, but Battle Angel Alita is how I read it, how I know it, and quite frankly, I like the names Alita, Tiphares, and Ketheres better.

Well, I was able to find a copy of Volume 16 of Berserk, from Books-A-Million.com, but it says it's backordered for up to 4 weeks. They'll probably end up canceling my order.  I really hate Dark Horse, right now :(
