So I've taking up watching anime through Netflix on my Wii U game pad while on the treadmill.  The bad thing about subbed anime is that I can't run and read at the same time.  The most I can do is fast walk.  Anyways, I am currently watching Ghost Hunt.  I love the supernatural and mysteries so I find the series to be quite entertaining.
I need to find a dubbed streaming anime so I can run.   I might have to turn to Hulu and see what they have.
Currently Playing:  Brave Story:  New Traveler, various ios games

Currently Reading:

Recently Beat: Shivah, Tales of the World:  Radiant Mythology, Thief

So apparently there's a school comedy anime with a bunch of Falcom characters airing now.  Anyone else hear about this?

It's on my currently watching list. I saw the first three episodes and then forgot about it.
Each "episode" is really just a two minute skit. It's nothing special outside the slapstick absurdity of characters you're familiar with being treated in a completely ludicrous and inane way.
Of course any Falcom fan is obligated to watch it just out of devotion.

Haven't seen the anime but I own the manga it's based on.  It's pretty standard 4 panel comedy fare just with lots of Falcom characters doing silly things.

So I noticed that Crunchyroll added a couple motion comics by Manga 2.5 to their lineup.  I had heard of these guys before and seen tidbits but never actually sat down and watched their stuff.  They take panels straight out of the original mangas, color them, and add basic animations and of course voice acting.  I suppose if you're expecting a full-blown anime the results might be disappointing, but I think they're pretty good for what they are.  It helps that the series they've done this for aren't exactly heavy on the action.

Anyway, I watched Hadi Girl because I was already a fan of the manga (in fact if you look here you might see volume 5--the final volume--that I picked up in Akiba..).  It's not particularly deep or anything but darn if it isn't one of the most adorable things I've ever read.  The motion comic does a good job of capturing that feeling and I quite enjoyed it.  But, it ends rather abruptly after ten 10-minute episodes and it doesn't look like the Manga 2.5 people are planning on making any more.  I can live with that having already read the original manga, but seeing how the manga hasn't been translated even though the motion comic is that does make it seem like a bit of a tease for English speakers...

Watched the first episode of the Excel Saga spin off called Puni Puni Poemey. It's like the final episode of Excel time 2. Raunchy, vulgar, crude, loud, and hilarious.

Oooh a Ping Pong anime!  The movie was pretty cool/ridiculous.

And yeah Mushishi stuck out as well.  Is the first season that good?

I really enjoyed Mushishi when I watched it, but I don't know if that's nostalgia speaking or if it really was that good.
