Also, in this day and age, if you wanted to see it, you wouldn't even need to try hard to get it. Buy it off a website or download it, its easy. It's just headline grabbing

I'm definitely anti-censorship and the banning of pretty much anything especially something as dumb as this movie. Really, reading the synopsis, it's just an over the top violent sex horror movie that while probably should not have been made, and at its heart is completely harmless except to some people's sensibilities. Despite what the British censors wish to believe it really does not have a chance of causing real societal harm as that is giving this movie far too much credence.

Telling people "there's a lot of sex and violence in this movie, it's rated R(or whatever the British equivalent is)" gives no more information then anyone that knew about the movie already had, it would in no way sensationalize or increase demand or anticipation for the movie which there sadly was some. Now telling them "There's so much sex and violence it is dangerous for you to watch and as your betters we deem it inappropriate for your viewing" is going to increase the viewership of this piece of crap probably 2 or 3 fold.

The interesting thing about this is that no one is standing up for the movie. That says a lot.

I also agree that banning it is going to increase viewership. However, if people are too stupid to realize that the fact is was banned doesn't make it a good movie with even a fleck of interesting content, then let them seek it out. Let them watch people get their mouths sewn to people's assholes. Let them watch people get fucked with barb-wired wrapped penises.

I refuse to watch these types of movies (although reading about them is probably worse as now my mind is generating content to match the alleged horror; the real thing is probably corny).

However, the plot to A Serbian Film was interesting.  I can see that being art, and commentary and whatever.  Human Centipede I seems like silly horror stuff you see on the Fear network, which is fine by me.  II is just pretentious dumb shit, it sounds like.

The Serbian guys are at one end of the spectrum, and Tom Six is at the other, low end.  Tom Six is like a kid on the playground trying to gross out his friends, and the other guys are actually serious.

Serbian Film: "Imagine waking up with memory loss and watching a video of yourself getting buttraped"

Tom Six: "Imagine eating poop"

Otherwise, uhh, I hate the concept of banning, even in a case like this; I'd rather it tank horrifically and send a message to not make crap like this again. Though I guess it's possible it WOULDN'T tank.
