I thought the Suikoden games to have their emotional moments, like in the first game when the hero
Code: [Select]
commits patricide.
Secret of Mana's ending I thought was sad as well.

Definitely agree about the Secret of Mana ending.  A very emotional ending and an excellent game in several areas. (Music, Atmosphere, Art Style, Combat System, Graphics)

The end of Suiko V, Suiko 2 and the Ferris Wheel scene in FF VII. All brilliant emotional bits.

Seven pages in and no Lost Odyssey? First time a shed a tear for a videogame.

Also, Contact on DS. Maybe not in the usual bombastic/high-drama way, but somehow very touching.
