Dear square, make it a Vita game for US

Yeah, if it doesn't hit PSP here I want it there or on 3DS, Vita probably being the better fit. I know quite a few would rather have it on consoles, but given it's a game designed for portables (originally planned as a CELLPHONE GAME at that) I'm pretty sure it won't work as well on consoles.

Why and why? Why make a PSP game Vita only? Isn't Vita backwards compatable with PSP titles? I don't plan on getting a Vita at launch, but I do have an old PSP collecting dust (actually, I haven't had it very long, and it's already collecting dust). I also have a 3DS, but I think it would be pretty impossible to think that they would port it.

Secondly, why wouldn't it make a good console title? it's epic, HD, and based on a series of console games. Like Peace Walker, it looks like Type-0 would make a fine console title. Unfortunately, the console of choice would probably be the PS3, which I don't have... so I'm not crossing my fingers. My money's on the PSP, and not just because it's the best choice for me personally. Because it would be the easiest to do, and would play just fine on the Vita.

The air combat stuff reminds me of the Crystal Chronicles game for the Wii.

I would be surprised if this isn't ported to the Vita for NA.

It'd be stupid if they didn't realease this here.  What was the issue again?  I guess it's just the awkward phase with the UMD on the way out.  Man, it'd be fucking awesome if the PS3 could emulate PSP games...

The only issue is that it's a PSP game, but that's enough of an issue to at least be worried.  There were some concerns that it wouldn't come in downloadable form since it's on two UMDs, but apparently S-E found a way around that.

A Vita version would be great, though.  You don't need to change the graphics at all S-E, just let me use that second analog stick!

I remember reading somewhere that S-E had some sort of presentation about this game specifically aimed at western press during TGS.  It would be kind of weird to do that if they didn't have some sort of plan...

I just watched the latest gameplay trailer and I have to say I was quite impressed. I've been sort of following this game for awhile but it didn't really look that good before. Some parts still look shaky, (overworld fights) but the rest of the game looks very polished. From just the ten minute video I watched there even seemed to be a lot of variety. If they succeeded in tying this game into a comprehensive package this could end up being one of the best psp games. I for one, am hoping they succeeded.
