Question, The DLC that comes in this edition, does it have to be installed to be played, or can it be played off the disc? I have the 4GB 360 and I want to get Fallout 3 but if I have to install DLC it probably wont make sense to get the GOTY edition.

Yes it has to be installed. Its worth getting though, you can always delete when you're done.
You may be able to install it to a usb memory stick.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to look into whether it can be installed on a USB stick.

I haven't played all of the DLC, just Broken Steel and The Pitt.

Broken Steel is essential to get and download right away right when you start the game, so you can level up to 30 and continue exploring after end game.

The Pitt was pretty lame... I admit to getting it only for achievement point whoring.

Not sure if you can install DLC to a USB.

The file sizes for DLC I have is:
Broken Steel: 621 mb
Operation Anchorage: 370
Pitt: 493

Thanks for that info. I'm PRETTY sure I could install it on USB because I downloaded a game onto my Mem stick a few nights ago. I did end up getting Fallout 3 but not the GOTY version. Sounds like I will get Broken Steel at the very least though.

I'm almost certain that a 8 GB stick can hold all the DLC.

I think with the update that allowed USB sticks that the Xbox 360 doesn't care what kind of device you are saving things onto, as long as you identify which is your device at the beginning of the game.

Yeah, that's what it seems like. I bought two 16GB mem sticks so I think I should be really good as far as storage goes.
