The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

I have just aquired a laptop (an hp pavillion 1117cl) and im looking into joining steam. What free to play games are popular and decent to start off with?

The answer will be Intuitively obvious to those that seriously follow gaming news. Beyond that though, I hear Spiral Knights isn't half bad.

I was going to mention this right off the bat! Be warned, you might get sucked into the hat business in TF2.

Yeah, TF2 is the obvious choice. Other than that, if you happen to own HL or HL2 then look into the countless mods available.
