I have to admit, I did not see that one coming. In particular after Nippon Ichi decided to cancel Makai Wars for PlayStation Portable and instead opted to bring it to PlayStation 3. And while this will be yet another port/remake, every new RPG is a plus for system.

NIS will likely release this. I'll snap it up because I sold my PS2 version. I sure miss Flonne...

Is it just me or there are too many SRPGs for the PSP in comparison to the PS2?

I'll stick to my PS2 version thank you very much.  I don't really like stretched screens on ports.  Also, for anyone wanting the PS2 version, just wait until it is released on PSP and then buy it on E-bay.  The price will probably go down after it is made less rare.  (Unless people then consider the original even more rare because the PSP made changes to it or something. . .)

Nah, the PS2 version will still be rare. Pretty much like how Valyrie Profile for the PS is as rare as it was before Lenneth for the PSP.

...Do they really need to remake a game this soon after the fact that it's, like, just a few years old?

lets remake final fantasy 12

we can add more swords !

It's not a remake. It's a port.

Sounds great!  I love Disgaea and now I have another excuse to play through again!

I'm in agreement - there are a lot of SRPGs on handhelds, especially PSP.  What happend to a good-old classic turn based RPG? I want to see more of those!

I picked up Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth yesterday.  Plays very well...will be getting into that one for sure!  Wish I had the original PSX version though...

I wish I had the original too, it's very hard to find these days.

Legend of Heroes is a TB-RPG, but not a good one unfortunately. There's also popolocrois, but the same goes to it as well...

VP:L is the best RPG for the PSP mainly because the other aren't that good.

Looking good - not that that was surprising. Nearly PS2 in graphical power, handling one of the least demanding games? Perfect port!
