I actually liked BoF2. It was a pretty solid SNES era jRPG. Not the best, but far from the terrible game you make it out to be.

Opinions, blah. I was going to give you a listed explanation for my reasoning, just to back myself up a bit, but I realized I could condense it very quickly: I found playing BF2 tedious and overall not fun. The most generous statement I can make about it is to say its best qualities are subpar even by today's standards. (Have you seen the reviews for JRPGs on this site lately?)

I liked Breath of Fire 2, but the fan retranslated version. I had no idea what was going on in the original Capcom badly translated version. It was really obvious they weren't used to games with a large amount of text.
