Final Fantasy (1/2/3) on iOS devices

I am wondering how are the final fantasy games on iOS devices? Are they any good comparing to their GBA/DS/PSP versions? I am asking this because the iOS devices games are rarely reviewed and all of them are on-sale now. Thanks!

Edit: by on sale I only meant FF1/2 (3.99 each now). FF3 obviously was just released

Nice review, I bought all of them based on that review:-)

3 has been pretty fun so far, graphics seems to be on par to the DS version

Aren't these just ports of the PSP/DS versions? (Not that that's bad or anything.)

Not sure about 1 and 2 but 3 got tweaked for iOS. Even on the iPhone 3GS it looks way better than the DS version. And it supports the iPhone 4/new iPod Touches' retina display.

At the very least, they're cheaper versions.
