Hope it has both soundtracks. I don't doubt the Japanese/European one's been built up too much over the years (and the vocals aren't as endearing), but it'd be nice for the change of pace.

I'm a huge sonic fan but I think CD is overrated, terrible level design and the graphics are way too busy.

I felt it was the worst of the 16-bit Sonic games(not counting stuff like Sonic Spinball). The levels have a really glitched up look to them and the entire game feels like some fan made hack. The time travel gameplay mechanic isn`t very interesting either.

I'm still waiting for them to come out of left field with a OH HEY GUYS HERE HAVE THE PANZER DRAGOON GAMES AND SHINING FORCE 3 announcement.

My Saturn is on the verge of death. It's been used too much. I can't reliably play games on it anymore. Disc 3 of Panzer Dragoon Saga won't even freaking boot. MAKE IT HAPPEN MICROSOFT.

I love Sonic CD, it has this dark undertone that you don't find in most of the Sonic games. And it was developed by the same team that did Sonic 1, which is still probably my favorite Sonic game. Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 are still great, but to be honest, I've always liked Sonic 1 and Sonic CD better. Starting with 2, they concentrated too much on speed, and not enough on interesting platforming (often interesting platforming slows things down).

Sonic CD Teaser Trailer

iOS, Japanese soundtrack it said to be in this release, now Sonic CD will have conection with Sonic 4 for Sega to sell the next episode of that thing and a bunch of other stuff that I don't really care.

To be honest, I don't know if I'm even going to bother buying. I lost interest in Sonic a very long time ago, and I pretty much just fire up Sonic 3 & Knuckles if I get the urge to play a bit.

Similar. The inclusion of the Japanese soundtrack elevates it from "Don't care" to "I just might grab this as a curiosity," and that's thrown out the door if the price isn't good enough. I'd like it if they went to M2 for emulation too like they did for the Wii releases, but as usual they'll probably just go to Backbone.
