Since teddie is a Shadow with a mind of his own. Perhaps she is a Persona. After all her name is Mary, and theres a Mary in Christian lore (Jesus's mother)

or she's a character from P1 or P2. Maki maybe since their names are so similar.

Silly question/observation: For all the side by side comparisons that people have been doing with Mary to the P3 Velvet Room companions; has anyone else noticed a subtle but perhaps very important difference?

Theodore's V marker is silver; Mary's is Golden.

I'd say that's almost a foregone conclusion considering Atlus's cameo/hinting habits. Heck Vincent was in the bar/club in P3P complaining of nightmares well before we even heard the faintest rumor of Catherine's existence.

Yeah I know, but a cameo is one thing, actually creating a connection between the games to the point where it's even implied in the game's name? Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised (Catherine spoiler)

I overlooked the TV aspect of the Golden Playhouse too, which is also Persona 4-y.

I'm almost certain there's a connection between the TV realm, and the nightmares. The bosses of the stages manifest as something that the the dreamer is fearing. They could be shadows
