The Silver Age of RPGs?

I think that the real GOLDEN AGE of RPGs is the good old 16 bit age. I have just about every RPG for the system and I enjoy playing each and every one of them rite now. Everyone is saying how the GOLDEN AGE of RPGs is the Playstation. I have a good majority of the RPGs for the Playstation and I have matched up games from the past to games of the present. I will do a quick comparison of FF3 to FF7. You may think the materia system in FF7 is revolutionary but it isn't. If you have played FF3 or are waiting for Anthology then you should know that the Espers are the thing you learn magic by, instead of materia. The summon system isn't new either, if you have FF2 then you should know that Rydia had a call system and she could call Bahumut,Levithan,Odin and other that were in FF7. My point is that the real GOLDEN AGE of RPGs is the SNES not the PSX.
