Nightly Session
March 21th, 2003

As I sit here basked in seemingly eternal glow of my computer screen while updating this lovely Fan Art section, I am listening to various OverClocked remixes and hoping to the Almighty that nothing comes flying at my head this strange night. I fear spoons and my roommate's alarm clock (which goes off at undetermined times). After being attacked by cafeteria objects in the last few days, my classmate told me I should blame the full moon that happened during the 18th of this month, but I don't believe in those superstitions (or ARE they???). Well I hope that whatever's causing my misfortune doesn't stop me from properly putting up this update...

Anyway, enough of that sad and pointless story. I'm VERY surprised and happy about how much fan art I've been receiving lately. It makes me very teary-eyed... ;_; Although... it may have been caused by staring at the screen too long at this time, or I've just realized my glass of calamansi juice has already been emptied... Er, anyway, I'm just overjoyed to know that there's people who actually read this page (and send fan art, of course)! Maybe I might update more often to get more recent fan art posted, hm? I've wondered what bi-weekly updates would be like...

Also as a note, I've completed the February submissions. So, if there are fan artists who haven't had their artwork posted yet... I've either hadn't received the fan art or didn't post it up because it did not follow some of the basic guidelines. I won't repeat myself on what's to be expected from submissions nor reiterate what could be found in the FAQs. This is just a thought for anyone considering to submit fan art; otherwise, you'll get no special treatment from me. ;P

Well, that's about it for this night. Time to hit the hay! I hope you enjoy this update and send me more stunning fan art as always! Expect the next update to come with a surprise from yours truly. =)

~ Jen Claudio (She fears spoons, you know...)

Instructor, Off-Duty
Artist: Ami Arashi
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy VIII
Comments: I really liked Quistis from Final Fantasy VIII, however I found her clothes to be a little revealing so I gave her something else to wear. These clothes look more like what she would wear.
Love Grows
Artist: Ami Arashi
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy VIII
Comments: I like Squall very much, but I find Rinoa be VERY annoying. However... I was in the mood to draw Squall with another woman, and I guessed she just popped up. That's why she's so annoying... she pops up everywhere.
FFX-2 Rikku

Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy XI
Comments: A behemoth drawing. His head appeared to be too small after I finished it. :(
Kairi
Artist: DC
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Kingdom Hearts
Comments: picture of Kairi. n-n;
Quistis in Bikini
Artist: Rick Carls
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy VIII
Comments: I've been playing around with photoshop recently, and, well, this is what happened. Basically, I did a rough outline of a hot model, used a gradient map to get skin shading, and the multiply/screen tools for touchups. The Head/Hair/Face/Swimsuit were all drawn from scratch, which makes me pretty darn proud of myself! :) Perhaps my future submissions will be more tasteful...
Sora and Kairi
Artist: neiera
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Kingdom Hearts
Comments: I sketched with pen and scanned it onto the computer. The program I used for colouring this was Photoshop 6.0. Maybe when I have more time, I might put more for fan art.
The New Yuna
Artist: Jade
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy X-2
Comments: This is one of my most recent pictures I've drawn and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
Squall and ?
Artist: Tuire

Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy VIII
Comments: Squall see's a man sitting on a bench and wonders who is he. He desides to take more closer look about the mysterious man. (I hope that "mysterious man" would appear in the kingdom of hearts.) I hope someone likes it.
Sora
Artist: Tuire
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Kingdom Hearts
Comments: I was supposed to add a Squall next to him, but it takes too much time. Lol i think this is cute 2.I hope ya like it.
