Ker-POW! Ker-POW!

Attention! Attention! The Fan Art section has updated! Gasp! Shock!

I must apologize. I have put the Fan Art section on haitus for over a month without any prior notice. I had to catch up with college work as well as other miscellaneous tasks I had to take care of. In other words: I suck. You COULD say I've been playing a game of Life, but don't think I've been enjoying it. Who actually enjoys taking exams and fixing broken computers, anyway? Now the only things that have kept me somewhat alive during those hectic days were a few of my good friends (who will remain nameless ;P) and my Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. And oh, sweet LORD! That game is awesome... but, I won't rant about any of that now. I'm limited in time and space, you see. Heh.

Anyway, today's update is composed of submissions from mid-April. You can guess at this point that I have a huge backlog to finish. Frankly, I can't wait to sink my teeth into them! There must be a ton of great stuff I'm missing out on considering that today's update looks fine and dandy! Just hold on for a few weeks and I'll get them all up.

That seems to be about it. Hmm... now did I forget anything? Ah, oh well. If I forget anything, I'll mention it next time. Expect more frequent updates (at least twice per month) since summer vacation has kicked in (But, Jen is taking many summer classes! HOW?!). As always, feel free to drop me a fan art or two to your friendly neighborhood RPGFan Fan Art editor's e-mail address. You don't have to rush, though, since I have enough fan art to fill up at least 2-3 more updates. To those who have sent in fan art since April, look forward to your fan art in future updates (provided that they follow the requirements, of course). See you on the next update!

(... Now let's all hope that Jen doesn't go AWOL one of these days. Summer can do that to a lazy one like her. ;P)

Rikku

Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy X-2
Comments: I think I'm losing my art skills. This one is rather too . . . . boring to me. But it's still good. I wish the background wasn't too crappy though.
Editor's Note: ... WHAT?! This is quite a nice pencil drawing! The shading on Rikku is well done, and the background isn't as "crappy" as you say. Overall, it has a very soft and surreal touch. I'm sure many would agree that this looks a-okay! If it makes you feel any better, you can look at this. That's MY gorgeous artwork. ;P So keep it up, Kim! You're doing just fine in my opinion.
Tragic Prince
Artist: ART
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Comments: Castlevania SOTN is one of my most favorite games ever. ^_^ I had been looking around sites and noticed a total lack of fanart and then when I came here I couldn't help but get the hint that Castlevania fanart was wanted. Anyway, I first drew this picture in ink then used Print Shop Photo Pro 2 to color. (Suddenly the world unites in asking: What program is that?) It's a pretty good program but I can't wait to get photoshop. Off subject! Ahem, There he is: Alucard, the Tragic Prince!
