The Old-School Way
August 22nd, 2003

Well, next week I'll be living back in the dorms in college (the 28th to be exact). There is a possibility that I won't be updating next week since I'd have to set up my internet connection, which might take a while for me to take care of depending on if my computer gives me a fit there... like it did last year. Anyway, I'm still on haitus on e-mailing people, but hopefully I will be able to after the following week of doom and gloom... I, uh, mean... packing more stuff, travelling away, and going to college for my second year (sophomore year!). *sniffles*

So with all that said, SEND FAN ART HERE!!! And, I'll be back to post up more fan art as soon as possible. Just don't bet your money on next week for an update. ^^;

(By the way, the title is dedicated to the fan art below all done the "old-school way"... or so I label them. =P They're all hand-made with pencils, pen, markers, etc.! It makes me want to scan up my own sketches to post, but I don't have a scanner working... yet. *insert menacing laughter here*)

Mint's High Jump Kick
Artist: Kupo Nut 514
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Threads of Fate
Comments: Mint is my favorite character from Threads of Fate and one of my favorite female video game characters. I thought I could do a picture of her trademark attack and it turned out to be better than I expected.
Yunaportrait
Artist: Will
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy X
Comments: Yuna is so beautiful, I wanted to draw her.
Bloody Mary x 4
Artist: Diego
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Terranigma
Comments: Materials: Color Pencil and Markers. I've taken a little break from the whole remodeling of Final Fantasy 4 characters and focused on a game I played a couple of months ago. Terranigma is one of the most innovative games I have played in a long time. Not because of the game-play, but because of the story. Creation, Experience and betrayal combined in one makes this game worth while. One of the hardest bosses in the whole game was the "Bloody Mary x 4" character and this is my version of them.
Light in the Dark
Artist: Nashi
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Comments: This isn't my ususal style, so it took a lot longer than anything else I've done. I'm really proud of this one, although Link looks extremely sad for some reason...

Game/Inspiration: War of Genesis
Comments: i did this picture ages ago when i first saw the artwork, i thought he was sooo hot lol. it's a bit rough though.
Lulu
Artist: noodle
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy X
Comments: I always loved lulu, but i didn't want to draw her because of all the detail, but i sat down and did it one week, and it took over 50 hours @_@.
"Only Thing She'll Rub..."
Artist: Jameta
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy X-2
Comments: "...is my face in the dirt!" Sadly, I'm probably one of the few individuals who know that line from 'I Can't Dance' by Genesis. The pose was taken from a Victoria's Secret catologue, and the stamp means 'love'. Originally, the image was a lot larger, making minor mistakes look huge; fortunately, I was able to downsize it. I am, overall, proud of it.
Wulfgar
Artist: Louis Jones
Homepage: None.
Game/Inspiration: Icewind Dale
Comments: Recent pencil version of Wulfgar. I've changed it a bit since this scan, and I'm going to Photoshop it soon.
Final Fantasy One
Artist: Ryan Culver
Homepage
Game/Inspiration: Final Fantasy I
Comments: None.
Sephiroth
