Ahoy!

You were probably expecting Jen in this space as always, but now you're stuck with me for about a month or so! Lucky you! Poor Jen is bogged down with not-so-fun things like school, so I offered to help her get through the fanart backlog (and wow, that is quite the backlog) until things slow down for her.

Some of you may know me, some may not. I'm the bum who maintained the Mailbag for almost three years, which is now being run by Chris H. I'm sure Chris would love some intelligent letters sent over to him (hint, hint) so that he can talk about more than just Final Fantasy for once. =P Other than that, I mainly do news updates and make sure our message boards don't erupt into chaos.

While I love fanart, I hate to admit that I haven't checked out this section as much lately as I normally like to. And wow, we have a whole lot of talented artists here. (I'd love to be counted as one of them, but I kinda lack a tablet at the moment.) And despite all the mentions of the Fan Art backlog lately, there's always room for more. Just please don't forget to read the FAQ for submission guidelines before you send anything in. Much appreciated!
