Booyakasha!
July 29, 2004

Oh boy. I have been flooded with work last week. I'd meant to update last week but the work load was just too much for me to handle so I couldn't. So I'm back this week.

Just some things I'd want to say: 1) I can't draw eleborate gift art for all Critique Box people because I just don't have time and the more I put it off, the more I don't do it. So I've decided, I'll only do black and white sketches of your character and sign on them. 2) Hey! Where are all the comments for the inspiration box? You mean no one wants anyone to draw stuff for them? Gee.. but if you ask me, if you get artist block, watch any documentary from the LOTR Fellowship of the Ring Extended DVDs and trust me, you'll feel very inspired to get back to work (and will stop your complaining and strive on) It helps me loads because the dudes at Weta Workshop in New Zealand are just god-like. I worship the ground they walk. Seriously.

3) Very quick advertising. If you're on Deviant Art and you're sick and tired of seeing the same ol fan art styles cropping up, join the Creative Fan Art Club on Deviant, run by.. yours truly, and Look (who's posted some art on this site) we err submit art in our group that we find alternative and interesting! Check it out!

And another quick advertising: Read my friend's comic! My friend JinguJ is a fantastic up-and-coming comic book artist inspired by series such as Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop and more! She's from Indonesia, has no formal art training (till now when she leaves for Sheridan College in Canada to do a BA in Illustration) but... SHE'S L33T!! So read her comic: Star Booze on Keenspace.com

Other than that, I guess that's it. Yup.

Till next time kids! : D
