Hello, everyone. I'm here with a much-delayed update to the Fanfic Lair. Blame Elizabeth Maas and her charming "do a Mailbag for me or I will make you suffer in ways that you can't possibly fathom" persona for the lateness.

Today's fics are both top-notch. My heart is filled with joy when I see writings like these.

First off, CastGuardian brings us "The Greatest Treasure". This Final Fantasy VI fic has it all: love, action, drama...and divas? Just read it.

You know, I honestly can't believe that this update is the first one to have a Xenogears fic. Well, what better way to start things than with Donraj Windstar's "The Unbearable Mirror". Fans of Billy should get a big kick out of this one.

It looks like my last plea for fics was successful. We've got enough to keep going for a while. That doesn't mean you should stop sending them in, though. God knows I could use some actual submissions in the old inbox, not just a slew o' spam.

Be sure to tune in to the next update, when I'll submit my 1000-stanza sonnet dedicated to BOAT from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

By the way, I was joking earlier when I said that about Liz. She's not charming.
