Dark Age of Camelot is most people's choice for hardcore PvP in the realm of MMORPGs. The interesting three-way Realm vs Realm combat seen in Dark Age of Camelot hasn't been duplicated elsewhere. DAoC is interesting as it allows players to level and gain most of their rewards completely through PvP combat, eschewing the PvE portion of the game.
We had a chance to take a look at the new expansion, Darkness Rising, over the past few weeks, and we culminated with the Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable here in sunny Las Vegas, NV. Taking place at the Rio, hundreds of DAoC players gathered to mingle, ask questions of the developers, and see the new expansion, Darkness Rising.
