Nintendo DS RPG of the Year - Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
It can be tough to pick a game of the year on the DS. There are just so many great games to choose from! We had eight nominees for this award, but when the final votes were cast, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story stood head and shoulders above the rest. As always, Princess Peach gets kidnapped, and it's up to the Mario brothers to save the day, with Bowser as their unwitting ally. Unlike their past "collaborations," though, this game gives Mario & Luigi a guided tour of Bowser's innards, after he accidentally sucks them up. Bowser's Inside Story takes advantage of every capability its platform has to offer, but does so without getting annoying or feeling forced. This is a game that should be in the library of anyone who owns a DS.
