Wait, didn't we give best PSP RPG to Ys SEVEN? And isn't it an Action RPG? So why would Oath in Felghana (a super-remake of Ys III) beat Ys SEVEN? Answer: in terms of pure action-y goodness, Felghana trumps Ys SEVEN. Ys SEVEN brought a lot of innovation and presented an incredible, long-form RPG experience. But Ys: The Oath in Felghana is a pure rush of Action RPG euphoria. The mere fact that Falcom redeemed the black sheep of the series is fantastic. That it survived a port from PC to PSP is also great news. Ys SEVEN is a fantastic PSP RPG, but if you're looking for the pinnacle Action RPG, Oath in Felghana is the winner.
