Not much new in the world of MMOs caught our attention in 2010. But the continually-dominating World of Warcraft went from awesome to more awesome with the Cataclysm expansion. It isn't merely an expansion; it's proof positive that World of Warcraft is evolving. The entire world gets destroyed. The actual landscape has changed. One of the strongest things about Cataclysm is the individual dynamically-driven re-creation of towns. Depending on your quest progress, the actual areas you're in appear to be different. The fact that a six-year-old MMORPG still finds itself pushing the envelope on what's possible shows that Blizzard is still on top with this MMORPG.
