Game of the Year 2012

Games of the Year 2012
Welcome to the most elaborate feature of the year: RPGFan's Games of the Year. To last year's awards, we've added an award for the best MMORPG. We've also separated ports and re-releases and included mobile releases in the genre categories. We've also added four brand new accolades that highlight exemplary combat, visuals, sound, and storytelling. Finally, we added the exciting Reader's Choice award, chosen by you. As usual, our editors chose their top five favorites of the year, as well as some disappointments, anticipations, and other surprises. We hope you find some of your favorites among those awarded today and share in the celebration of another year gone by.
