Final Fantasy & Before Crisis

Actually shown last year for Japanese mobile handsets, the original Final Fantasy is finding its way onto American handsets this year. While it hasn't yet been announced which mobile phones would be able to support the software for the remake, screenshots of the title showed one of the characters as named "Verizon", so taking a stab in the not-really-dark, expect the newest Verizon handsets later this year to support the game. Final Fantasy is not Square Enix's only foray into the mobile world, as Before Crisis also found its way into the presentation, as well as action titles from the recently-acquired Taito.

Before Crisis and Final Fantasy will both be available later this year, with the supported handsets TBA.

The World of Mana (Seiken Densetsu)

Square Enix also announced that they would be porting the original Seiken Densetsu (Final Fantasy Adventure) to mobile phones alongside a new title in The World of Mana.

Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Mission
Dirge of Cerberus for the PS2 isn't the only title that's slated to hit in the series, as Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode: Final Fantasy VII is headed for mobile handsets. Featuring both first- and third-person action like its console counterpart, Dirge for mobile phones will fill in some holes from the story in the PS2 iteration. Lost Episode has yet to recieve a date.
