Final Fantasy VIII US Release Date

The highly anticipated (and excellent) Final Fantasy VIII finally has a US release date: August 31, 1999.

Let's hope that the US version of FFVIII doesn't use the new Sony lockout. Otherwise, owners of modded Playstations may have some trouble on their hands.
