Dragon Quest Characters: Toruneko's Mysterious Dungeons 2

Chunsoft's Mysterious Dungeons a mostly overlooked RPG on the Super Famicom, will finally be receiving a sequel. Dragon Quest Characters: Toruneko's Mysterious Dungeons 2 features Toruneko, the weapon merchant from Dragon Quest IV. Mysterious Dungeons 2 is said to be twice as long as its predecessor, and will feature above-ground exploration in addition to the usual staple of underground dungeons. A plethora of items, enemies, and traps are present in the game.

Dragon Quest Characters: Toruneko's Mysterious Dungeons 2 is scheduled for a September 1999 release.
