Vandal Hearts II Info

Vandal Hearts II: The Gate Above The Sky, the sequel to Konami's popular strategy RPG Vandal Hearts, is looking better and better as we near its release. It has just been revealed that Vandal Hearts II will feature something called the "dual turn system." Instead of being turn-based, battles will be in real time, with both you and the enemy attacking simultaneously. There will also be a split-screen mode to facilitate battling in 2 separate locations concurrently.

Other new features include weight as a factor in character movement and improved graphics. The characters in Vandal Hearts II will be unrelated to those of the first game, despite the familiar setting of the sequel.

Vandal Hearts is scheduled to be released in Japan on July 5, 1999, for 5800 yen. A new anti-piracy scheme will be implemented on this game. A US release has not been announced by Konami.
