E3: Day Two

As was confirmed yesterday, Lufia: Ruins Chasers will not be on the Playstation, and will be published on the Game Boy Color. There are some rumors flying about that a new Lufia will be worked on for the Playstation 2! Also in Color Game Boy news, we learned from GIA that Azure Dreams will be coming to the GBC in September 99 stateside!

In Dreamcast news, while this isn't RPG news, a new Ecco The Dolphin game was revealed for the DC. This game is fully 3D and has the same feel as the original on Genesis and Sega CD. Additionally, Activision will be the publisher for Blue Stinger in the US.

Unfortunately, the Ninja Gaiden sequel is still a no-show at E3. There is still one more day left, hopefully Tecmo plans a last minute showing of one of the greatest NES game series ever!

And last, this is a hot list of the RPGs at E3 (in some form or another):

  • Azure Dreams - GBC
  • Climax Landers - DC
  • Detonator Gauntlet - PSX
  • Final Fantasy VIII - PSX
  • Final Fantasy Anthology - PSX
  • Grandia - Sony
  • Jade Cocoon - PSX
