Legend of Mana demo Review

The Mana series is without a doubt one of the best and most renowned Action RPG series out there and the announcement of Legend of Mana for the Playstation a couple of months ago brightened every RPG fans' day. Finally, the Mana series was making its way onto a next generation console and it couldn't have come at a better time. With the Playstation's power almost completely maxed out, Square was able to come up with a new graphical look for their newest RPG (also used in Saga Frontier 2). Instead of trying to make the beautiful world of Mana come to life in a lifeless, blocky and drab polygon world, Square decided to go all-out with beautiful hand-drawn backgrounds and sprite characters. I couldn't be happier and this look really goes well with the Mana series.

RPGFan editor Commodore Wheeler got a chance to play the demo of Legend of Mana recently (when he acquired Saga Frontier 2) and I kinda got the impression that he really liked it :-). For more info, go read his review of the demo by clicking here. It's definately a must-read for all RPG fans.
